Comments:Chevrons, Your beauty is equal to the smoothness of a polished gem. Torrent vibrations cling with the perils of your eyelashes torturing my libido. Your beauty is multiplexed in contemplation of your multidimensional effervescence. Your wonderfully bright soul keep the demons from torturing me. Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. Your essence is equal to the beauty of a galaxy. In your presence even my shadow acquires the sensation of touch. The elves that play in the toasters wash their drum sticks in honey and sing strikingly colored anthems in perfect harmonious pleasure. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. As the bliss slowly rises in my incandescent eluxulator, your mere presence has a euphoric effect upon me. Come, let me suckle your fingers that I may absorb and lose myself in the wise and beautiful starlight that is you.

Also: Why were you origionally a pop U.S. group which had a hit record in 1960 (and wow David you were only 2 years old???) named "Lullabye". The band featured Terry Cashman .. when -- also why? -- did Terry change his name???

Comments:You guys def. have a unique sound and one that I love. As the daughter of a musician who has been in the studio most of her life...not only with my father but also with Tommy Lee on one occasion when making his latest solo cd.... I can appreciate talent when I hear it... I am not a musican myself but being around the industry from childhood has enlightened me and given me the ability to recognize and acknowledge talent when i see it and hear it. My future prediction sais that you guys are on the way to becoming something HUGE... I COULD NEVER COMPARE YOU GUYS SOUND TO ANYONE BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT ALL OF YOU ARE ON THE WAY TO A BIG HIT...SO I WON'T EVEN TRY TO MAKE A COMPARISON TO ANOTHER BAND OR ONE OF THIER RECENT HITS...JUST KEEP UP THE HARD WORK AND OF COURSE, THE INSPIRATION THAT FUELS THE FIREWORKS!!!!!!!! Comments:Interesting to see Here It Comes Again again. It is a great song and you've positioned it in exactly the right place & I also like the fact that it is naked ( no big noise!). Also Dancing This Way says hello again. I was surprised by this as it is quite a recent released song. Interested to know what prompted you to include it. It is a really nice way to end the album in a ballad style. On to the rock'n'roll songs. Your guitar playing towards the end of Teardrop Blues is some of your best recorded work - just fantastic. Hurtin' In The Morning & So Rude stood out for me as well but I want to listen again to the album LOUD. So mate great stuff as usual, keep rocking and good luck with the cd!

Comments:I have gotten into some bitter battles over the years regarding music as an art form. I say this. If a band sets out to be "popular" and write "hits" then the music is not "ART". Its just a bunch of monkeys in suits. If a band follows its heart, works hard and still has success...ART. These tracks on N1music.com site smack of ART. The music is richly textured. The compositions are interesting and different. If you're not already on the radio then there can't be any justice in the music industry.
Jon, Thank you for the nice feedback

Comments:Hi Chevrons Thank you for the excellent music. I'm sorry if it has taken us some time to get back to you but we receive over 100 CD's every week and it takes some time to work through them all! We are overseas in Europe, Asia and the USA a lot and consequently office/studio time for listening to new material is usually limited, but I have now had a good listen to your excellent offering and have this day replied in writing to you with a letter of offer. You should receive this in the mail in the next 7 to 10 days. We have affilliations and associations with over 60 labels and are expanding all the time! Our work spans publishing, licensing, film and radio in many countries. We also have several number one artist, Grammy award winning artists and gold/platinum award winning artists and writers in our catalogues/roster who we do regular licensing, publishing, sub publishing and publishing administration work for. So please do give our letter of offer some serious considerati

Would you check out the link and if you like what you see would you include us on your promotional material? Any questions please feel free to get in contact. it is wap enabled so for all the music fans out, on a night out, they would be able to find the gigs that were going on in their area. It is a new site so any help would be appreciated. We are keeping it free for bands and artists to promote themselves. What we need is music lovers checking them out. If the general public know of any gigs they can also register them free. So they can be part of growing this live music community

Comments:These guys bring back memories of early R&B groups, as well as the "British Blues Invasion" bands (which hit the US shores in the mid-sixties). Lead vocalist Terry Sullivan has a raspy voice that even the youthful Rod Stewart would have envied. Listen to "All or Nothing," a powerful heart felt-ballad. It has what the current music scene is sadly lacking: soul. "Message Understood"(one of two live cuts), epitomizes the very heart of Wilson Pickett's "Heard It Through The Grapevine." Their rendition of "Sweet Soul Music" captures the spirit of the original Motown classic. Give "Down , Down Down" a spin, and you'll swear you're listening to The Yardbirds. "So Rude" includes some compelling guitar by David Galt, which will work you up to a fevered pitch. He is backed by a solid rhythm section composed of Ian Frase(bass) and John Kane(drums). Whether you're looking for something new or if you're an old fart like me wondering what happened to all the good music, this may be what you're

Comments:The only Rough aspect of The Chevrons Rough and Ready is the quality of the recording on some of the tracks, the live songs in particular. Other than that I found the album a pleasure to listen to. Kicking off with Down Down Down was a good idea since it's certainly the catchiest of the songs and one of the best originals on the album. The Chevrons Rough and Ready had me boogying around my bedroom and at one stage my mum even joined in! Its an upbeat happy vibes album that I'd be inclined to listen to when I'm getting ready to go out in a Saturday night with my girlfriends. Message Understood and Hurt Me Baby also prove that they can kick it live. I'm certain that their classic rock meets soul blues vibe is better suited to the stage that a studio but Rough and Ready gives a flattering taster of what audiences can expect. Thanks guys I thoroughly enjoyed myself

Comments:The Chevrons are Rock "n" Roll and Rock "n" Roll is the Chevrons.Terry Sullivan’s Vocals are raunchy, raw and outstanding . Comparing him to Rod Stewart would be true but also unfair as this band have their own unique sound , and he's better looking, that cuts it with me! This great album will certainly get you tapping a toe. If you like Status Quo, Tina Turner,Otis Redding and the Stones you are going to be a happy bunny with this baby. Should I tell my dad he has competition ?

Comments:Hi Davey, Anne and the band. Dunno if you remember me, used to live with Jacqui. Dug out your first CD Dancing This Way last night and that prompted me to check out the status of the band now. Looks like you're doing well. I remember how much fun your early gigs were, especially at the Vine, annoying the neighbours with Mick's mad drumming. I'm in Watford now, any plans to play up here? Also, do you ever hear from your old bass player Euan? I'd love to get in touch with the nutter. All the best and keep up the good work. John

Comments:...thansk to the Chevrons for a top night! Just a shame there were so few to witness such a great night :( Definately one to have back Pete but with a local support? Double header with Cry Wolf :) THE CHEVRONS Stripes Bar, Brentford Friday 23rd April 2004 Sadly a low turnout after some very healthy attendance’s over the past few weeks at Stripes. The Chevrons play a mix of blues, soul and rock ’n’ roll covers mixed with some of their own fine original material. A four piece with a tight sound and a big, heavy rock drum sound. They started with Creedence’s ‘Proud Mary’, then proceeded to lay down their own versions of such classics as ‘Get Off My Cloud’ (the Stones), ‘All or Nothing’ (Small Faces) and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ – a true delight, made more so that one guitarist managed to cover the sound of three! They alsoo laid down some blistering rock ‘n’ roll standards and a few blues standards ‘I Just Wanna Make Love To You’. The Chevrons own material is of high standard mixing an r‘n’b sound (proper r’n’b not this cack in the charts today!) with a rock rhythm. By the end of the set they had the audience in the palm of their hands and encored with Rod Stewart’s ‘Maggie May’ and the Stones ‘Honky Tonk Woman’. Vocalist Terry Sullivan has style somewhere between Rod Stewart (pre-80’s), Joe Cocker and the late, great Steve Marriott. Good, strong range and ideally suited to the songs that make-up the set. Next time they play near you get along as you’re in for a night of well played blues, rock & soul.

I am interested in featuring you on the website Since its conception, Glasswerk has published the popular music site www.glasswerk.co.uk which features hundreds of bands, reviews, news and mp3s. I have thought up of a new show which would showcase musical talent originating from the Harrow and Brent area. This would include not only the well-known acts like Elton John and the Sugarbabes but also the many unsigned/underground talent that the boroughs have to offer. I discovered you through BURBS and have very much liked what I have heard on your website. I know you have quite a few CDs, but I was wondering if there was a chance to be sent either all of your CDs, a mixed CD of what you consider to be your best tracks from each album or at least one of your CDs

I had a look at your website, and we are very interested in your band. The website is not yet finished, and is so far un-named, but should be ready in the next few days. Comments:Dear Chevrons Can you help? Basically were a group of students in Middlesex uni, north London, studying film and TV production looking for new and upcoming bands to showcase there talents on a live studio record music magazine show. The first show is to be filmed on Friday October the 17th, and were looking for a band to be filmed live with performance based material ( Two tracks) and a brief interview. If your interested in this and would like to find out more please reply to this email, a full copy of the show on video or other formats will be gladly given as a way of thank you and it will also be an excellent opportunity to have some record live footage? If interested as i said early get in touch with me as fast as possible as we can only work on a first come first serve basis, hopefully this could be a great opportunity for both parties to come out with something productive as all the equipment used to record and produce the feature will be industry standard and to a broadcast

Comments:< A rare breed of guitarist like Chuck Berry and Jimi Hendrix, Davey is not only compelling for what he plays, but for how he plays it. While some guitar players use racks of gear to create sound, Davey prefers a simple, natural approach that emphasizes manual dexterity over gadgets
